Tampa Bay History Center Announces Temporary Closure

Effective Saturday, March 14

Closure will last two weeks as the History Center continues to monitor ongoing developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus)


(Tampa, MARCH 13, 2020) — After consulting with local health officials and our management staff, the Tampa Bay History Center, 801 Water St., Tampa, will close to the public beginning Saturday, March 14, 2020 as we continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

The History Center is committed to the safety of our visitors, members, staff and community.

This is a temporary closure. At this time, the History Center will remain closed for two weeks as we continue to assess developments regarding public health and safety.

All upcoming programs and tours are canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
