Tampa Bay History Center Extends Temporary Closure

Public closure extended as the History Center continues to monitor ongoing developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus)


 

(Tampa, MARCH 27, 2020) — The Tampa Bay History Center, 801 Water St., Tampa, has extended its public closure in compliance with the Hillsborough County Emergency Management Policy Group’s Safer-at-Home Order.

The History Center is committed to the safety of our visitors, members, staff and community and will continue to monitor local developments and advisories regarding reopening to the public.

The public can continue to engage with the History Center via its website, tampabayhistorycenter.org, and social media channels for virtual tours, history talks, homeschool lessons and more.

This is a temporary public closure. All upcoming programs or tours are canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
