Private collectors from throughout the Tampa Bay area will display their eclectic personal treasures in the museum’s galleries, offering everything from fossils to soda fountain memorabilia, cigar industry ephemera to antique cameras. Collectors Day is included with regular admission to the History Center, and families can also enjoy children’s activities in the museum atrium.
Do you have a prized personal collection of items that you would like to share with others? If so, we invite you to be a part of Collectors Day 2019 at the Tampa Bay History Center! The purpose of this event is to showcase the role that objects have in our lives whether it is a connection to the past, a path to knowledge or a way to share one’s interest with others. Be a part of this gallery experience for visitors of all ages. Guests tour the museum to see the many interesting items on display from over 30 collectors like you and hear the interesting stories behind them! Collectors Day will be held on Sunday, May 5th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Address is 801 Old Water Street, Tampa FL 33602 How to Apply: Please read our policies and procedures, and complete the application below.Once received, you will be contacted by a TBHC staff member to discuss your collection, and the policies and procedures for the event.
