Author Paul Wilborn looks back at the Ybor City arts scene of the 1980s, sharing stories from his collection of short stories, “Tales from a 1980s Creative Ghetto.” The collection of short stories is based on Wilborn’s experiences as part of Ybor’s burgeoning art scene and the characters he encountered as Tampa’s immigrant neighborhood transitioned into a hub for artists, writers and musicians in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Designed as an up-close gallery experience, Sangria and Stories includes complimentary parking, a glass of Columbia Cafe sangria and an in-gallery presentation.
