2008 Annual Meeting

As the sun set on a beautiful day, over 200 members of the Tampa Bay History Center attended the Center’s 2008 Annual Meeting on March 20 on the Yacht StarShip.  During the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and musical entertainment by members of the Florida Orchestra.   Highlights of the evening’s program included guest speaker, Governor Bob Graham, the presentation of the 3rd Annual Leland Hawes Prize in Florida History and the announcement of a partnership with the Columbia Restaurant in which the Columbia will operate the Columbia Café in the new museum as well as  manage all of the Center’s hospitality and catering needs....
